Data Import and Integration

It is common that organisations have a large amount of data and are faced with the problem of either publishing, cleaning or importing these data to a new system.

Often the data is XML based or within a differenmt brand of database to that currently in use. Our unique data handling tools developed over the past 20 years have enabled us to solve these problems for customers ranging from national conservation organisations through to onine price comparison businesses.

In the case of conservation data we have undertaken projects that have 'cleaned' 5 million data records from separate systems and integrated them within a common model enabling there wider use for conservation

In the case of price comparison we developed a system that took live feeds from vendors and integrated the data in real time within an online price comparison web site delivering millions of real time price updates a day.

In many of the case we have undertaken we have employed data cleaning, data normalisation and term building and custom transformations to ensure that data gets used optimally for the purposes required.
